A friend recently complained to me that the AntiVirus software that I had him install on his computer was causing a lot of problems.
So I asked him, "what sort of problems".
He replied: " Well, it keeps popping up some sort of message on the screen. It's really annoying!"
So I asked him, what was the message?
He stated: "oh some sort of annoying message about a trojan or virus detected while I am surfing the internet, But I fixed it."
Ok, so how did you fix it?
"I uninstalled that dumb antivirus software you installed and now I don't get it anymore, but I now have about 12 different search bars at the top of the screen and the computer must be doing a lot of searching because it really is slow now."
umm, ok....
